Nervous System Awareness
Our nervous system is the foundation of how we relate to stress and safety - it’s also how we connect with and react to the world around us. Through practices grounded in polyvagal theory and somatic, awareness I help clients to tune into their physiological state and learn to recognize patterns of dysregulation within their own system. Once clients are aware of their ability to do this, I help them create tools that enable them to build their capacity for emotional resilience and calm.
Parts Work Coaching
Parts work recognizes that the mind is not a monolith - it is made up of various “parts” - internal sub-personalities shaped by a variety of past experiences, protective strategies, and unmet needs. Each of us has a rich internal landscape made up of these ‘voices'. Parts work enables you to explore and build a relationship with these inner aspects, rather than suppress or judge them. By bringing awareness and compassion to the parts of you that may feel conflicted, stuck, or overwhelmed, we create space for greater internal harmony, understanding, and ultimately self-leadership.
Cognitive Behavioral Coaching
Our thoughts create ripple effects throughout our emotions, choices, and lives. Cognitive Behavioral Coaching helps you recognize unhelpful thought patterns (including things like catastrophizing, black-and-white thinking, or many kinds of self-criticism) and replace them with thoughts that are more realistic and empowering. By understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behavior, clients learn to create powerful mental tools that enable them to challenge old internal narratives, reframe experiences and take meaningful action in the future.
Communication Coaching
Neuroscience shows us that the language we use – especially in our internal dialogues – can reinforce neural pathways related to self-perception and interpersonal connection. How we speak to ourselves informs how we appear to and interact with others. Using neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness I help clients become more conscious of how they speak to themselves and others. This helps foster self-compassion and the creation and maintenance of clearer boundaries which can lead to deeper, more connected communication in all aspects of everyday life.
